A Nanna Poem

September 26th, 2007 by Nanna

MY NANNA

Nanna said she’d give me anything
Even the Moon that’s in the sky
“But you cannot do that Nanna,
‘Cos the Moon is up too high!”.

When I go to Nanna’s place
I have so much fun
She lets me do whatever I want
Then whisper’s “Don’t tell Mum!”

I climb all over Nanna
And she doesn’t even care
She gives me lots of hugs and kisses
And ruffles up my hair.

Lots of kids don’t have a Nanna
To spoil them like me
It isn’t fair ‘cos without my Nanna
I know how sad I’d be!

“I love you Nanna, very, very much
You always find the time
To play with me the way you do
Nanna, I’m glad you’re mine!”
