The Baby has Dropped!
Just off the phone to Erin, she saw her Obstetrician this afternoon. The Baby has dropped and is an excellent size. And Erin is in perfect health at 30.5 weeks.
The Obstetrician decided to do another ultrasound today (no pictures to share unfortunately) as all the previous ultrasounds hadn’t been able to show the baby’s face to check for abnormalities.
Everything is perfect!
A nice clear scan of the face was finally seen. “Bub has big chubby cheeks” was his comment! With head down bum up, the Ob then circled his testicles for Erin & Gav. “Yes, very well hung” Of course, Gav is ever-so-proud and has a huge beaming grin!
I can’t believe how excited I felt when Erin said those words – “the baby has dropped”! I feel all revved up, excited and can’t stop grinning. What the hell am I going to be like when Erin starts labor???
These 9 weeks are going to drag too slowly for me!
