Strong love washed over me, exactly the same love I felt for my very own babies the very second I set eyes on this precious, darling little boy. The most amazing experience I have ever witnessed. I am so proud of Erin, she did the most amazing job, and Gav couldn’t be a prouder, more caring Dad.

Tyson was born with the cord wrapped firmly around his neck and was very blue. It was a few seconds (my heart almost pounded out of my chest) before he made his first tiny sounds of life, but thankfully not too long before he let out his first healthy loud cry much to the OB’s delight.

And yes, I cried buckets. So did Gra. The immense love and joy was just too overwhelming for both of us. We are over the moon and back again.

My head is 34cm and a bit sore from the Vacuum delivery – so watch it lady.
