Lick of Paint
Tyson’s nursery is very tiny and now he’s beginning to enjoy playing on the floor with his toys, Erin has decided to move him into his own permanent bedroom. It will be a much cooler room too, with a sliding door opening up onto the patio for a cool breeze on those hot summer nights.
So each time I come up to babysit when Erin cuts hair, while he’s having his naps I’ve been busy painting his new bedroom. The room was previously a dark taupe, which has taken 3 coats of paint to cover it! Such a big difference - it’s made the whole room look so much bigger and brighter. I think Erin has the bigger job now of moving everything from the nursery as the cot will have to be dismantled, and there just seems to be so much “stuff” in that nursery!
As Erin and Gav are going to a wedding this weekend, Tyson is coming home with me today to stay for 2 nights. I marvel at how lucky am I.
