And really, quite boring to anyone but family members. So best I just pop up a collection of photo’s with their relationship to our Yet-To-Be-Born-Grandson. Just a matter of how many Greats need to be added! Of course, these are just the Grandfather’s on my side of the family. Some rather stern looking old Grandfather’s I might add, but I think that’s just the nature of the photo’s of the era. What a shame some of the photo’s are so old and fuzzy, still, I’m grateful to have them.

I’ll start with Gra (short for Graham for those who don’t know). He’d would like to be called Pop or Poppy. I say would like because you never know what you’ll end up being called. I know of one Pop who ended up being called Posh. My own Grandfather was called Da instead of Pa. My father wanted to be called Grandpa, but he got called Papa.

The only piece of furniture still to come is a Boori change table, hopefully I will pick up a good second hand one for her on eBay at half the price of a new one. A bath with a baby support on a wheeled stand and a nappy bag was put on lay-by today, so Erin is gradually getting everything needed for his arrival. She certainly is organised with 14 weeks still to go!

Another milestone.

Erin told Gav to put his ear to her belly, thinking he just might be able to hear some thudding sounds from his kicks within.. can you hear anything? ..no ..now? ..nope. Then, with a mighty kick, Gav heard felt it!

So much happy excitement, it puts a smile on your face doesn’t it. The pure joy of expecting a baby, I’m so happy for Erin & Gav. Actually, I’m pretty happy  myself!
