A newborn child with eyes so bright
You fill the world with much delight
Your heart is kind; your smile is sweet
You are a joy to those you meet

Although, your path is just begun
Your future shines, just like the sun.
As moments pass, your soul will grow
To learn things that you did not know
You’ll rise above; you’ll make mistakes
You’ll fall in love; your heart will break
Yet, through it all, you will remain
A link within your family’s chain
Whose bond shall strengthen over time
Despite the mountains you must climb.

A newborn child with eyes so bright
You are, indeed, a wondrous sight
Your skin is soft; your features small
But, you are loved by one and all

Yesterday, he had is first outing to the shops, cruising in his pram and sleeping the whole 4 hours. Pushing his pram I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face! It was great for Erin to get out of the house and we enjoyed chatting over lunch. Tyson had a bit of a cry when we woke him to put him in the car – and no wonder, it was pretty fiddly getting those tiny waving arms through the seat belts. By the time we’d driven out of the parking lot, he’d settled back to sleep.

He seems to be a text-book babe so far – just doing what newborns do, occasionally a bit unsettled, preferring to be held and cuddled, but most of the time easy to put down to sleep.
